the existing Atmospheric Distillation unit of Lavan Refinery was design in early 70’s to process 20,000 BPD Sasan Crude Oil and to produce ship fuel mainly. After revamp carried out in following years, by installation of Kerosene pumparound draw-off and Kerosene stipper, capacity was increase to 30,000 BPD. It is intended to increase the capacity of existing distillataion unit by construction of a new CDU (CDU No.2) yo process 50,000 BPD of mexed Lavan Export Crude Oil (LECO) and South Pars Condensate (SPC). Anew Vacuum Distillation Unit (VDU) with a capacity of 12,000 BPD shall also be constructed to minimize production of middle distillate from both atomopherice units.
