Project Information
The Yadavaran oil field , is located some 70 km to the southwest of Ahwaz and is near the Iran-Iraq border in southwest Iran. The field is very remote from existing N.I.O.C. infrastructure and is spread out over a large geographical area stretching some 45 km from north to south and 15 km from east to west.Yadavaran oil field will be developed from two gathering manifold sites, one situated in each of the Kushk and Hosseinieh areas. The produced crude will be transported to Gas/Oil Separation Unit (GOSU) and Central Treatment Export Plant (CTEP) processing. The processed crude and excess gas will be exported to the Ahwaz Booster Station (ABS) and a tie-in point near ABS about 100km away.
The Phase 1 facilities were designed with a peak oil capacity of 90,000 bbl/d of light oil, 45,000 bbl/d of heavy oil, and 170 MMscf/d peak gas handling capacity. It l also includes gas lift systems for the wells at a design rate of 25 MMscf/d from the CTEP to the wellheads.
The proposed Yadavaran development comprises of 21 heavy oil (Sarvak) wells 12 light oil (Fahliyan) wells tied to the Kushk manifold and 5 heavy oil wells and 7 light oil wells tied to the Hosseinieh manifold. This gives a total of 26 heavy oil wells and 19 light oil wells plus 3 exploration wells in the Phase 1 development.
