Sangan Iron Ore Concentrator Plant

Sangan is one of important mining zone of Iran with one of largest reserve of iron ore in the region so, cluster of iron ore beneficiation industries including Sangan Steel Company of Khorasan Concentrator have been developed in Khaaf which is the capital of Sangan district. This Concentrator with its down-stream pelletizing plant, will provide the required feed for direct reduction production line of steel making mill of Mubarekeh Steel Complex. The concentrator benefits the latest modern technology for processing the fine ground material by vertical mill followed by Slon magnetic separators to meet the Recovery and Fe assay requirement of project and also elimination of sulfur impurity by flotation.

The complex comprises the whole spread of mine crushing unit, long-distance conveyor ROM material handling of 7 km., intermediate storage /stacking & reclaiming, concentrator plant, mechanized cylindrical large capacity storage and, its affiliated pelletizing plant.
