This project has been carried out in order to enable the construction of a 300,000 Ton alumina plant (or the minimum economic capacity that is obtained during the study) to supply the raw materials of Al Mahdi aluminum plant.
The mentioned studies were carried out in the following three sections:
- Locating (the best location to construct an alumina plant)
- feasibility studies (finding the best capacity from an economic point of view)
- Study of bauxite supply sources
